As a big winter storm will affect Missouri, Southern Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee today, but we'll just have clouds here. On the northern fringes of the storm system we will have a few light breezes out of the east. Temperatures today will be up around 20 this afternoon.
A few flurries will be possible Tuesday and Wednesday as much colder air sets in. A cold front will sweep through the Quad Cities on Tuesday morning, causing temperatures to go steady or slowly fall through the day. We'll only be around 10 degrees for the high.
We'll go below zero for Tuesday and Wednesday night. A weather system could have us shoveling a little bit of snow Friday into Saturday before we say hello to some milder air...but not until the end of next week.
