Around 1.3 billion images are shared on Instagram everyday! This is what Saurabh Desai calls, “digital pollution”. Thus, in questioning the purpose of his sharing images online, Saurabh recounts his journey as a wildlife photographer, and the ways in which he hopes to bring inspiration and meaning to his work. Join him, in a talk filled with scenic images from the wild, and discover what it takes to keep going, as you capture and share snippets from the wild world, to an online audience. Saurabh has a long list of accolades and honours to his name. Having had his work published on prestigious platforms like National Geographic, WWF, BNHS Wildlife books, Asian Photography Magazine, etc., he is also the brand ambassador for Canon India and Zeiss India. He has been honoured with awards such as the National Geographic travel photographer of the year 2020, Gujarat Kala Ratna Award, the Sanctuary Asia photographer of the year award, and many more. He has had multiple exhibitions throughout the country, but perhaps most importantly, his work attempts to reintroduce us to the bond between humans and nature. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
