Here's the re-seal and install of a J37A2 engine into my 3G TL Type S. Project has taken longer than expected, but hopefully the hard part is finally done...
Couple of differences that I know of for the J35 to J37A2 swap- Catalytic converters are different. Oil Pressure Sensor is different, old sensor will not thread in to J37 Oil Pump (should re-use J35 Oil Pump). J35 Injectors are 290cc, J37 Injectors are 310cc (Not confirmed), they still plug and play. Ignition coils are different, you will have to cut off old ignition coil connectors off and rewire new connectors for the new ignition coils. That's all that really got in the way of it being a direct swap.
