Yeah I do around 50 sets per workout but don’t worry I recover quickly, and I just respond well to high volume. You see this is the logic that I had 3 years ago when I was doing 15 exercises per session with 5 sets each, thinking you know I look pretty decent, so it’s gotta be working right. Oh how wrong I was. You see this was me in December of 2020, and this was me 8 months later in August 2021. Notice how I made absolutely no visible progress whatsoever. Now to take it one step further, here’s a video of me benching 205 for 5 reps also in December, and squatting 290 pounds for 5 reps as well. Now fast forward again 8 months back into August, and what do you know, I’m benching that same fucking 205 for 5 reps, and I’m squatting the exact same 290, nothing changed. And you know what else, I was the exact same fucking weight in both. I made zero progress in the gym, I built no muscle, I was always fatigued, and you know what I said . Trust me, you do not recover quickly, you are not a genetic phenom, sure you might have a somewhat decent physique doing tons of volume with loads of sets per workout, but I guarantee you will have a significantly better one by doing much less and really dialing in your intensity. How do I know, because I’ve been there myself.
