Paul: I'm personally commissioning a guitar similar to this from Don Musser for my own collection. I have long wanted the powerful open sound of an SJ style guitar and I know Don Musser is just the guy to deliver. His years of building have made him a master at capturing vibrant energy and tone. The Tree makes this one extra special and beautiful and the sound is clear and powerful.

Logan: Big sound, with great range. I can play softer fingerstyle and there's sweetness and warmth, or lean in with a flatpick and there's good headroom to keep the definition clear and not overdriven. Don's achieved the SJ ideal, one that's as at home with picks as with fingers.
