MoesGo Kids' Alarm Clock Review
MoesGo Kids' Alarm Clock and Smart Sleep Study Trainer with Night Lights Sounds and Expressions, Compatible with Alexa and Google Home
This arrived in a nice colourful branded box opening at the top, the alarm clock was well protected with a foam section at the bottom separating the USB type A to micro USB power lead and a sliding top pin three pin UK plug USB type A power socket along with the instruction book.
First impressions: this looks and feels well made and has quite a cute look to it, all the main controls are on the bottom and there are a lot of buttons, switches and adjustments I thought might take quite a bit of navigating, the instruction manual is really good and the sort of instruction manual a lot of other products need but lack.
After having a read through the instruction manual I went through adding the alarm clock to Smart Life an app, I already use the Smart Life app so I didn’t need to install that but it is fully detailed in the manual, adding the alarm clock is fairly straight forward and again fully and clearly detailed in the manual. I was pleased to see the clock automatically set the correct time once connected, I thought the alarm clock app really good and almost negates the need to use any of the manual buttons on the bottom of the clock, setting the alarms is really easy along with setting the alarm to repeat on specific days, setting the screen expression, sound effect, sound duration, light colour, brightness, light effect and more.
My five year old daughter has been using the clock since it arrived to get herself up in the morning for school and it has worked really well, she really likes the clock and the obvious aim of trying to give the clock a child friendly personality has worked very well with my daughter and she talks to it as she would one of her favourite toys.
Overall a nice child friendly alarm clock with a good clear easy to follow manual, the application that goes with it is clearly well thought out and is easy to use and adjust, this has a multitude of settings along with being able to set multiple alarms to specific times and days, I thought at first it was going to be really fiddly and awkward to use but am happy to say it isn’t at all with the assistance of the app and my daughter loves it.
