As time passes, this build-up can solidify and prevent the charging cable from making a secure connection, and in many cases, result in the device not charging at all. Following this, we will use the tweezers, cotton, and alcohol to thoroughly cleanse the area. A high-quality contact cleaner can be a bonus, as it not only cleans but also protects the electronic tracks and eliminates any trace of rust or corrosion.
