Measure the new spring coil and mark the width on the window. Use a square to get the straightest cut. I made my cut in an area you would not be able to see when I raised the window up all the way . Remove the plastic piece with the screw. Then remove the old spring coil. When putting in the new spring coil be careful not the mar or break the plastic. Get a flat head and turn the slot (the hole where the window rod clicks into) so that it can move up and down. Make it a little higher or lower than the other one so you can put the window back in. Be careful it's a spring. 😂 once it's in a good spot turn it so it locks. Needs to be at the same angle as the other one.
