It's February 1968. The Beatles are getting ready to embark on a months long journey to India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. They need a good single to release while they're gone, and Paul has found inspiration from Fats Domino
George and John plug their guitars into the same Vox Conqueror amp on 'Distortion' mode. George is using his 1964 Gibson SG Standard, and John his 1965 Epiphone Casino
I'm using my 1970 Gibson SG Special with P-90 pickups. It's very similar to George's, except his had humbucker pickups and different inlays/tuners. And I'm using my 2021 Epiphone USA Casino in Royal Tan, also with P-90's
Amp is my 1965 Fender Bassman (black panel) with original oxford speakers/cab. And finally, I'm using the Aclam Dr. Robert pedal. This is based on the Vox UL730 amp that the Beatles used on Revolver/Pepper. Funnily enough the artwork on the pedal was drawn by none other than Klaus Voormann, who designed the Revolver album cover
