Successful dental implant treatment requires careful treatment planning, meticulous surgical technique, and precise prosthetic restoration. Osseointegration is the key biologic and biophysical process that has made dental implant therapy predictably effective for replacing missing teeth. Titanium is an ideal material for dental implants. For an implant to have intimate contact with bone, the implant site must be prepared with a precise
technique. In 1988, Misch proposed four bone density groups independent of the regions of the jaws, based on macroscopic cortical and trabecular bone characteristics. Surgical implant placement may be carried out in one- or two-stage or submerged methods. In general, dental implants may
