Alexia without agraphia is the inability to read WITHOUT an inability to write.

TL;DW: Neither left or right visual information is making it to the reading center. 1) Left side doesn't need to cross, but it doesn't work. 2) Right side works fine, but it can't cross over because of corpus callosum involvement.
