Where to stay - We stayed in Brookside Heritage Resort. You can also stay in a lake side resort or a houseboat in Kumarakom.
Where to eat - As there is no cafe culture in Kumarakom, you can eat at your stay. But if you are explores and foodies like us, dine in at a resort in Kumarakom. We went to Zuri Resort and Rhythm resort. Rest we ate at our stay as the chef their cook fresh and delicious meals.
Things to do in Kumarakom - Kumarakom is a laid back town where you can just sit, relax and be in the nature. You can go to Pathiramanal Island, Evening Boat ride in Vembanad Lake which is the longest lake of India, Thiruvarppu Sreekrishna Swami Temple, See a classical dance performance at any resort over dinner (call them to know the timings), Kumarakom Birds Century (we didn’t explore the birds century).
