Check out the love! I was meant to be!!! Meet Raja and her new forever family Chris a long time rottie owner (lost his male a few years ago and been searching for his new best friend), he is retired military and now lives in beautiful Vail, Co where he lives on the river with a large fenced yard. Raja will go to work everyday with her new dad, go camping, hiking, sleep in his bed and going on my wellness regimen to ensure her long term health and wellness... What is incredible about this home is my best friend Sage whom I met almost 25 years with our young Rotties at a coffee shop, her rottweiler's name was RAJA!! She has had rotties her entire life and the same as Chris, one of her closest long time friends in Vai. When I called and told her and Chris about Raja they both wanted to give her the life all dogs deserve! They went thru the whole adoption process and Chris got in his truck from Vail and came to meet Raja in Big Bear, Check out the love already!!
Here is the story of Raja and the rest of the pack... Raja and Orion were the personal dogs of a man named Bruce, a trainer in Southern California. I was contacted by one of my Rottie rescue friends about this man's dogs, he had around 12 total that he rescued and trained.. Anyway, Bruce was not feeling well and at the end of June was diagnosed with Lung cancer and passed less than a month later (just this last week).. Luckily Bruce has some great friends and got the word out to find these dogs wonderful forever homes and I got the memo! I went yesterday to meet Orion, Raja and Bruce's close friend Lucy. It was a wonderful day and Raja will be living the life all dogs deserve! HOWEVER, sweet Orion is the ONLY ONE that does not have a forever home! Orion needs to be placed in a home with experience and local in the Southern California area, if you are interested please message me and i will get you in contact with the owner's rescue friends. Here is a description from PETSCONNECTUS FB Page "APPLE VALLEY (CA)**My heart broke last weekend when my friend Bruce Babitz died of cancer. At the time of his death it was believed there was placement for all of Bruce's dogs...which is probably why Bruce finally gave up a fight he couldn't win. I was told today that the plan for Orion fell through and people want to send him to Tennessee. I know there is a home for Orion in CA. I know there is someone looking for an adorable companion. I know that Bruce would want his beloved Orion to stay local if at all possible. Please SHARE so this California guy gets to stay on the west coast. WE ONLY HAVE A COUPLE OF DAYS TO FIND ORION A LOCAL HOME! If you are interested in adopting Orion and saving him from going on a long transport to Tennessee please comment on the thread or send me a PM and I will put you in touch with someone who can help. SHARE NOW!! This is URGENT!
Here's a little of Orion's story:
Orion and his best buddy Apollo were adopted from San Bernardino City Shelter in 2013. When the adopter bailed on them the dogs were sent to Bruce for boarding. Bruce fell in love with the pair and adopted them...he couldn't imagine the boys leaving him. Some time later Orion and Apollo ran away. Orion came back home a few hours later but his BFF Apollo wasn't seen again. Orion bonded with Bruce's Rottie, Raja, and with a Shepherd puppy Bruce adopted last year. While Orion doesn't enjoy the company of every dog, he does get along with some.
Here's VIDEO of Bruce with Orion and Apollo meeting my rescue dog, Sable. They were instant buddies! [ Ссылка ]
Here's info on Orion from another thread:
"Orion is a big, lovey dovey, goofball! He can be a little “mouthy” but not a biter! He will do just about anything for his treats. Like a lot of dogs, he is 50/50 with other dogs. He's been best buddies with Raja the Rottie. He also plays with Luka the German Shepherd nicely. He is relaxed in their presence and in the home setting. Proper intro for any dog is key of course!
Please share for a savvy adopter or rescue. Orion is a great dog but he is strong so not recommended for newbies, or young children who could get knocked over. An energetic family with respectful older teens, athletes, etc would be best. Sorry. Not sure about cats."
CONTACT ME BY PM OR COMMENT ON THE THREAD IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING ORION."
