Hobbiton Movie Set, Hinuera, Matamata, New Zealand was the Film location used for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and The Hobbit film series. Tours are now on offer of the film set and as we filming the Ngunguru Peninsular and then the Hairy Feet Waitomo film location, we also decided to come film here. I filmed in 4k 3840x2160 (UHD) and have had to edit some of the sound track, because of wind noise.
