ASHEVILLE, N.C. -- Christians in the mountains are celebrating Holy Week leading up to Easter.
All Souls Episcopal Cathedral in Asheville held a noon service for good Friday.
Parishioners say Holy Week is important to fully appreciate Sunday's holiday.
Saturday at 8 p.m., All Souls will hold The Great Vigil of Easter and Vigil Feast, then Easter day services will be held Sunday starting at 7 a.m.
