There are many common misconceptions that are found in any field by those outside of the field. In a recent chat with Life of Em, I realized that people will seek their information from people who haven't really studied languages before or from online sources that people from the language community don't use because they may not know where to go for information. This can lead to people being misinformed about languages and language learning. There are many misconceptions about languages and language learning, but in this video, I cover five common ones.
