The Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation's Patient Care Program aims to improve the experience and outcomes of patient care. Part of the program's work is partnering with Brigham and Women's Hospital to redesign care in the ICU to eliminate preventable harms, both medical and non-medical. The ICU is one of the most complex and costly settings in health care and also where patients and their families are at significant risk for preventable harms. This is the story of Brigham and Women's and how they are working to change this through their project called Prospect.
