The Good Life Project ran through 2021 and into 2022 and explored what a good life means for older people living within the Adelaide community.
The project produced a number of tangible activities and events, such as a drama performance, a haiku poetry and art book, as well as this art exhibition in collaboration with Hutt St Centre's Creative Hub participants.
The Creative Hub is a safe and inclusive art hub within Hutt St Centre, where people who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness can express their creativity and make meaningful connections.
There were several participants who wished to express their response through music, lyrics and spoken word however, due to COVID-19, we have been unable to showcase their responses as part of this exhibition.
The Good Life Project has been made possible thanks to:
• The Office for Ageing Well, SA Health
• The Australia Centre for Social Innovation
• Allan Hendry's Vintage Creative Therapies
• The Women with Latitude choir
• Meditation and Mindfulness Coach, Beverly Allen
• Hutt St Centre's Aged City Living and Pathways programs
• Theatre Buddies and all volunteers who contributed to the project
• All clients and participants who bravely expressed what a good life means to them.
