While this is a US government “propaganda” film, it also shows a side of the Vietnam war most people don't know or remember. Thousands of American soldiers and civilians try to help the Vietnamese people in the villages throughout the country. Behind the propaganda-like script there are real people here working in high risk situations to help. It was a genuine effort and I knew American military and civilians who did these jobs and tried their best.
