Have you ever had to oppress your thoughts because you were scared of what people would think of you as a man or a woman? We need feminism because everybody should be given the same rights and opportunities: women should be allowed to be powerful and men to cry.

Gabriela was born in Brazil, and lived there for 15 years, until she moved to Argentina, where she has been living for 2 years now. She speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Living in these two countries, Gabriela noticed overt sexist inequalities between men and women how difficult it was to change the mentality of the people living in these contexts. But when she got the opportunity to do a TEDx talk, she knew that that was her chance to gain people's attention to this current situation that not only happens in Brazil and Argentina, but in the whole world.
