The Active Safety Brake is an emergency brake system that avoids clashes.
The camera located at the top of the windscreen detects obstacles such as a vehicle traveling in the same traffic direction or at a standstill. From 5 km / h to 85 km / h, the sensor activates braking automatically when a risk of collision is detected. The speed of the vehicle shall not exceed 80 km / h when a stationary vehicle is detected and 60 km / h when it is a pedestrian.
The system avoids clashes or minimizes the severity of the impact when the collision is unavoidable.
