Here’s a Pro Tip that you can use to improve your Recruitment Marketing and employer branding strategy.
On an employee’s first day working at our company, new team members are sent an invite to join GoodSeeker and create an account so that they can read the stories of our other employees.
One of the reasons that we make this part of the new hire onboarding process is to actually teach new employees what our company values look like in practice. Plus, they are able to get to know their new coworkers because there are real stories of people doing real work at our company.
Then everybody at Evans gets an onboarding peer when they start. And one of the things that we suggest that our onboarding peer does is to show the new employee around the GoodSeeker platform, to help them sign up if they have any questions, but then also show them how to use the tool.
We have a few employee stories that recognize people who made a positive impact on their onboarding experience. That is how we have helped to address the barrier like they have never used the tool before, and they are just not really sure how it works. So we just help them from day one get to know the GoodSeeker platform so that they’re ready to be an author to tell their own story about working at our company.
