Pharaoh Huni wishes us to set up another Sinai outpost to mine gemstones and copper and the place he has selected is a former outpost known as Serabit Khadim.
This mission can either take a very long time or it can be quickly done, as is the case here. Unlike the previous Sinai mission of Timna, the mission requirements are very low, with Huni only requiring 2000 people and 80 kingdom rating. This is not as easy as it seems due to the constant battles from both Bedouin and Canaanite soldiers. Your city MUST stay inside the protected area and only forts should be built outside the area.
This mission is also one of the few to have surprise attacks. By that, I mean that you get no warning whatsoever of an invasion and it just ... happens. The surprise invasions are Bedouin's, with advanced notice given for Canaanite invasions. By the first invasion, have at least one full infantry company ready to fend it off.
There will be no end to requests in this mission. You will need a lot of copper and gemstone mines to meet the requests and also to produce a lot of goods for export. Copper, Weapons, Gems, Luxury Goods and Linen can all be exported for a good amount of income.
When your main settlement near the entry point is evolved as high as possible (no higher than Fancy Residence, unless you want manor level houses), build another settlement near the Ostriches and feed this on nothing but Game Meat.
This mission is very simple. It's a case of just fending off attacks, mining plenty of copper and gems for both export, use and requests and meeting the objectives. You should have no trouble beating this mission.
