The video shows advantage of diesel combustion heater as a heating source in electric vehicle, specifically 2012 Mitsubishi iMiEV. The heater was installed as a replacement of the original PTC electric heater. The Winter driving range as shown on the display was 87 miles with fully charged battery at 21F (-6C) and no decrease while combustion heater created warm atmosphere for vehicle occupants. With the original electric heater, the estimated range is below 50 miles.
