This video introduces and explains the essential circuit symbols you need to know to understand the rest of electricity in A Level Physics.
We use circuit symbols to draw diagrams of electric circuits. Each symbol is simple but easily recognisable as its corresponding electrical component. Electrical component symbols you need to know include symbols for a: cell, battery, bulb, resistor, variable resistor, light dependent resistor (LDR), thermistor, diode, light emitting diode (LED), ammeter, voltmeter etc.
Thanks for watching,
Lewis
