Last year, we rescued these former dancing bears from Pakistan to Jordan. Home at Al Ma’wa Sanctuary 🏡, the Himalayan brown bears finally have a chance to leave their bitter past behind and start over.

While Bubloo's health status is quite stable, Suzie's condition requires regular medical observation and special care. 17-year-old Suzie was the first animal to receive urgent help upon the arrival of our team at Marghazar Zoo in Islamabad last year as she needed life-saving surgery due to a breast tumour.
The staff of Al Ma'wa for Nature and Wildlife - محمية المأوى للطبيعة والبرية, which is run by Princess Alia Foundation and FOUR PAWS, are dedicated to providing both bears with the best care possible and spoils them daily with their favourite fruit snacks 🍇. Suzie and Bubloo’s new enclosures in Jordan are spacious, green, and species-appropriate! 🌳
