We're back with another episode of Roundtable. In this video, we hear from four professionals - a death doula, mortician, embalmer and forensic scientist - about their experiences working with the dead. The group discuss how it feels to see a dead body for the first time, whether on a crime scene or in their home, the changes that happen to a person when they die and the importance of bringing closure to families. As a group, they unpick why society views death as a taboo and dispel the many misconceptions about death and dying.
Thank you to Carol McLeod, Martin Jeffrey, Katie Costello and Deb Homewood for taking part in this episode.
