Israeli government spokesperson David Mencer accused Sky News’ Yalda Hakim on Thursday of representing the “talking points of Hamas” when she stated that more hostages have been killed than rescued in Israel’s military campaign in Gaza.
When questioned whether the Israeli government will take negotiations more seriously to end the conflict following the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, Mencer defended the Israeli government by saying “we have made generous offers,” but that Hamas “walks away every single time”.
