He deploys the straw man argument, which works by attacking the position Hero critics never held. Nobody has ever challenged the Hero’s right to a Hero Journey to be challenged and transformed.

But is the Hero using the Hero Journey as a human shield against legitimate censure for extracting maximum Vitamin D in Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily and Ischia?

That the Hero has not cut the Hero’s Journey short is tacit admission that the Hero’s timing was not ill-considered. Moreover, the Hero’s timing was impeccable!!!
