A conversation with Lee Moavenzadeh "Thresholds of learning in my journey of awareness of and action against antiBlack racism"
This is a new mini-series that is part of our Uprooting Racism programs, entitled, ‘Personal Vignettes for Dismantling Racism.’ The goal of this mini-series is to have conversations with individuals about their personal learning journey as they strive to understand the meaning of racial justice and unity and their place in it. We will explore with them how this knowledge is transforming their personal lives and their engagement with others in their family and community.
We will start with a conversation between the guest speaker and the facilitator. We will then open up the conversation to the whole community. The purpose of these conversations is to gift each other with our encouragement and widen the conversation to ask follow-up questions so we can gain an in-depth understanding of individual efforts on this “long and thorny road beset with pitfalls.”
