Sri Ramalingeswara temple is situated in Avani, Kolar district of Karnataka. You can plan for a day outing as it is less than 100 KM from Bangalore. Its a 10th century temple and is protected by ASI. The temple is very beautiful and the architecture is delight to watch. You will be amazed to see such extra ordinary work done on the pillars, walls of the temple.
