• According to Clause 3.3 of the draft, the FMGs (who’ve completed or are completing their Mbbs degrees from abroad) are suppose to qualify the upcoming NEXT examination within 2 years
of completing their degrees while on the other hand for the Indian Medical Graduates,
the number of attempts is unlimited. Hence we’re of the opinion that the draft is
discriminatory in its nature & this clause must be changed and equal opportunities
must be given to both FMGs and Indian Medical Graduates with no restrictions on
number of attempts.
• The clause 3.3 of the draft also includes an additional paper for only FMGs to access
the knowledge of pre & preclinical subjects which will be an additional burden on
FMGs at the time of examination, hence we request your good self to cancel this
additional paper for FMGs & bring uniformity in the NEXT examination.
