Many say if you use a controller on PC you are just going to get destroyed. While that may be true in some titles most notably FPS its not true for all games. There are plenty of games that benefit from using a controller and some PC FPS games have built in aim assist to help the controller users stay competitive with mouse and keyboard. Other that that I have always used controllers when playing racing games or games like GTA, I currently use one now when I play BF5 because I think it gives you and advantage when flying aircraft vs mouse and keyboard players. I have always used wired controllers, however the days of slow lagy wireless controllers are gone, today's wireless controllers are great and EasySMX sent me a couple of theirs and I have almost nothing bad to say about them.

The best part is they are way more affordable then Xbox branded wireless controllers.
