A case has been registered against Jayasudha, wife of YSRCP leader and former minister Perni Nani, in connection with the ration rice scam. Machilipatnam police registered a case against her on the complaint of Civil Supplies Department officer Kotireddy. During the previous government, Perni Nani built a warehouse in the name of his wife Jayasudha. After that, it was rented out to the Civil Supplies Department. However, officials who recently inspected the warehouse found a discrepancy in the PDF rice stocks. It was found that 185 tonnes of rice had disappeared.
