An extraordinary day of racing, on a super smooth track, and with days of watering before the event, track conditions were absolutely perfect. Some fantastic racing all day in all classes. The 250cc class looked wide open on paper, and so it was, with Craig Drury and Georgie Wood looking the main contender going into the final. Multi 350cc Champion Jason Handley going for yet another championship title would have to beat the flying man from Kent, Matt Etherington, having his best year to date, and winning everything he entered. Dave Penfold returns to defend his title and would prove very hard to beat, and in the 500cc Sidecars, 6 times British Champions Shaun Harvey & Danny Hogg were looking for title number 7, and 5 times British Champion Nick Radley was looking for title number 3, but could Josh Goodwin win his first British title? Lots of other contenders, and they produced some cracking racing. Lots of great interviews with the riders.
