VOA’s Amina Aliyu spoke to Dr. Melissa Durand, radiologist specializing in breast imaging at Yale School of Medicine and Dr. Augustina Badu-Peprah, radiologist in Kumasi, Ghana. They discussed ways which African women can improve the outcome of breast cancer and close the disparity gap. They also explain their collaboration with RAD-AID and how they’ve been working together to bring technology and information to Ethiopia and Ghana.
