today I want to talk about a newer fantasy romance manga that is 100% worth a read, Beauty and the Beast of Paradise Lost by Kaori Yuki. this manga incorporates so many themes and genres into one series that it has a little something for everyone!

it follows Belle, an adventurous young girl who ventures into the forbidden woods, which forever changes her life as her mom gets kidnapped by a beast. from there, Belle faces many obstacles including her own father, and decides she's going to save her mom. Belle ends up crossing paths with the real beast, who finds out he's not as bad as everyone has said, and that they actually have a common goal and enemy in La Medium.
