On 1 November, Gin opened the 2012 Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards -- NZ's equivalent to the Grammy Awards -- with this energetic performance of a track off her latest "Gravel & Wine" album. She was nominated for four Tuis: "Best Pop Album," "Best Female Solo Artist, "Single of the Year" (for "Black Sheep"), and the "People's Choice Award."

The full "Gravel & Wine" album currently is only available in physical CD from New Zealand (but can be shipped worldwide): [ Ссылка ]. Release in the USA and elsewhere around the world is expected in January 2013. This is Gin's second album, the follow-up to her debut "Holy Smoke" (2010).

Also in November, Gin stars with James Bond in a new TV and digital ad campaign for Heineken and the new 007 film, "Skyfall."

And lucky you if you got to see her live show in New York City, Toronto or Los Angeles right after the brief stint in her native New Zealand for the awards show! She's back in NZ for a nationwide "Red Hot Summer Tour" with renown Australian rocker Jimmy Barnes in December/January.
