3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division and Kuwaiti soldiers assigned to the 15th Mubarak Brigade conducted Operation Saweyan Shield, a live fire exercise, at the Udairi Range Complex near Camp Buehring, Kuwait. Saweyan is the Arabic word for 'together' and Saweyan Shield demonstrated the combined effectiveness of the Kuwiati and U.S. forces. The exercise was a testament to the Kuwaiti military's proficiency in combat, as well as the synchronization achieved between both Kuwaiti and US forces. Saweyan Shield highlighted the partnership that had been cultivating between the units over the last 5 months of the Sledgehammer brigade's deployment. Video by Spc.
