Why do we dream? Inspired by Sigmund Freud's influential twentieth-century book 'The Interpretation of Dreams', Freud explores how dreams are a way of fulfilling our unconcious wishes.

Featuring performances of works by Liszt, Tartini, Messiaen, Arvo Pärt, Cervantes and more. We're also delighted that dancer Lana Williams, star of our Sleep 1 video, also appears in the film. Narrated by RSC actor David Acton who explores works by Freud, Lewis Carroll, Daniel Love, Ursula K. Le Guin, Arthur C. Clarke and more.
