Apple recently announced a battery replacement program for 2016 and 2017 MacBook Pro laptops that would only charge to 1%. This issue made using the MacBook almost impossible as it always has to be plugged in.
This issue has been around for a year or more, but it took until now for Apple to come out with a replacement program, after many user's including myself went ahead and replaced the battery themselves. Rather than spending $500 for an Apple replacement I used an iFixit Kit to replace my battery for $150, which you can check out at the link below.
