Tooro Kingdom has partnered with the Rotary club and private players in the education sector to promote education and literacy in the Kingdom. In particular, the kingdom has partnered with the Toro Belle literacy foundation to establish digital libraries in schools starting with Fort Portal S.S in order to promote literacy.
In launching the library, Prof. Dr. Denis Mukamanamara who doubles as the minister for the education of Tooro Kingdom noted that learners embracing literacy will lead to the creation of a knowledgeable society that can address society's challenges. This event was part of events to mark International Literacy Day.
