World Cotton Day: Senior officials call for global celebration of cotton
World Cotton Day will be a global celebration of cotton, highlighting its qualities as a natural fibre and the benefits it brings to those involved in its production, trading and consumption. World Cotton Day, an initiative of the Cotton-4 (Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad and Mali), will be launched at the WTO on 7 October 2019, in collaboration with FAO, UNCTAD, ITC and ICAC.
