There are important yet simple differences between two of my favorite real estate investment strategies.
Subto is when the home owner still has a debt on the house, meaning you’d sign over the deed and start making payments to their current loan.
Seller Finance is when the house or asset is paid off which allows the seller to come up with their own terms and finance the property to you as if they were the bank.
