On March 11, 2011, at 2:46 PM in the afternoon, there was a 9.0 magnitude undersea earthquake approximately 230 miles northeast of Tokyo, Japan followed by a destructive tsunami. Official counts of damage approximate 14,000 deaths, 5,000 injured and 14,000 missing. Damage to nuclear reactors in the affected area resulted in release of radioactive particles in water and air which led to evacuation of surrounding neighborhoods in a 12 mile radius. People present in the affected parts of Japan on 3-11-2011 were on dangerous ground. There is a fault line running across California, and from time to tome severe earthquake strikes this part of the United States. In a certain sense those who are living here are living on dangerous grounds. People living near active volcanoes in the Philippines, live on dangerous grounds. People working on mine fields to clear the mines work on dangerous ground. These examples are however, are not the most dangerous places to be. You will be surprised to know that perhaps the most dangerous place you can be, is the church, because what churches teach. To live in an environment where the salvation of your soul is at risk, is living on dangerous ground. The woman described in Rev. chapter 17, which represents a church, is clothed with material from earthly origin that emit light. She is drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus (Rev. 17: 6). Saints of Christ and martyrs are found in the church. We have a church or a religious organization that murders its own people. Churches are the most dangerous places to be. If you are in the wrong church, you are on dangerous ground and need to move. John was amazed how can a religious organization exterminate its own people (Rev 17:6).
Another woman is described in Rev. 12 who is dressed differently, clothed with the sun, moon at her feet and stars on her crown. She is clothed with light from heavenly bodies, not from earthly origin. Life of Jesus is the light of men (John 1:4). Jesus is the light of the world, light of life (John 8:12). The glory of the woman in Rev 12 is the life of Christ. Not all churches belong to God. Paul tells us about two churches in Gal 2:13, one destroying the other. Two churches, one is God's church, the other Satan's church. You either belong to God or Satan, you cannot belong to both at the same time. A church is either God's church or Satan's church. The church of God has been persecuted down through the centuries, and has never persecuted anyone else. What makes a church, a church of God? It is no different than what makes a person a child of God. To be a member of God's kingdom the standard is the same for all people and all organizations. The woman in Rev 12 is wearing the blue, color of obedience or the color of the law or the color of loyalty. The garments of the high priest reflected glory of God and beauty in that order (Exo. 28:2). The glory of God is His character {AG 322.2}, this character was revealed in the life of Christ {AG 322.3}. The colors in the garments of the High Priest included gold representing faith, purple representing royalty, scarlet representing the saving blood of Christ, and blue representing the law of God. The woman on Rev 17 does not wear the color blue, which represents obedience to the law of God. This woman cannot represent the church of God. A converted person is delivered from a mind of Satan to the mind of Christ. The content of the mind of Christ is exclusively the law. A converted person delights to do the will of God, Gods law is written in his heart (Ps 40:8). God is withdrawing the restraining power of His Holy Spirit from this earth. Natural disasters and the violence will intensify more than what we have ever seen. There is an angry God in heaven; however, He still did not close probation. There is still an opportunity to make a decision, 'let me serve God according to the way that He has required of me'. That is a way of obedience to God in response to the understanding of His tremendous love for me.
