A Jordanian soldier accused of the murder of seven Israeli schoolgirls earlier this year said at his trial on Wednesday (25/6) that he lost control when the girls appeared to laugh at him as he prayed. Ahmed Al-Dagamsa said he ignored the laughter until he had finished his prayers, but then he reached for his gun and began shooting.
The girls were on a school visit to the Israeli-Jordanian border at the time of the incident.
