4.鍔 Tsuba: The handguard
5.鞘 Saya: The sheath/scabbard
6.鯉口 Koikuchi: The entrance of the sheath
7.栗形 Kurikata: The hole on the sheath that the sageo string goes through
8.下緒 Sageo: The string to tie your hakama and sheath together
9.鐺 Kojiri: The end of the sheath
10.切先 Kissaki: The end of the blade
11.物打 Monouchi: About 15-20 cm from the end of the blade
12.刃 Ha: The sharp edge of the blade
13.峰 Mine: The dull edge of the blade
14.鎬 Shinogi: The side of the blade
15.反り: The curve of the blade
