tired T28 but with a fresh (whining!) differential from accident damaged YJ07VSG, some refreshed leather and red paint en-route from Sandringham. Also a guest appearance by its partner 29!
As crunchy as ever, 28 doesn't appear to have had fresh injectors (yet) and unfortunately its starry LED tubes are starting to crack up 😕
Built for Transdev Yellow Buses of Bournemouth by April 2009 (registered a month before R7TYB) as R8TYB - 8, featuring a high spec interior with LED uplighting, glazed partitions from the brand-new Versa, Esteban Civic V3s with headrest handles, enlarged wheelchair area and extra grab rails, transferring to Coastal Red of King's Lynn in late 2019 and becoming Lynx 28/T28KLN by October 2019.
Sadly Yellow Buses neglected their trailblazing Tempos, and as a result 28 is kinda tired, exhibiting diff and axle noise. Whilst it's not as composed as 29 (R17), in all fairness it's quite mechanically robust: 28 appears very dependable and just keeps going. Also I wish 29 had the same cool stopping sign tbh
