FOODS THAT INCREASE BREAST MILK
According to the studies it is proven that some food items are too effective and that’s why the elder's have always relied on it. Moreover, this is being practiced for generations. Let’s learn more about the items that can help in increasing the breastmilk.
Almonds- It is a superfood that is full of Vitamin E, polyunsaturated fats, and Omega-3 fatty acids, and that's why all doctors from across the globe recommend this to all lactating mothers. You can overnight soak some almonds and eat them in your breakfast next day or during winters you can consume them as snacks.
Water- After giving birth to a child, new mothers become so busy that they forget to take good care of themselves. Yes, it’s a fact that a lot of newbies forget to even eat or drink on time because they are too busy taking care of their newborn babies.
Moringa/Drumstick- This vegetable has a lot of calcium and iron in it and you can try amazing different recipes with this wonderful vegetable and can add it to any part of your meal in a day.
Milk- Milk is full of healthy fats, calcium, and folic acid that not only provide you with important nutrition but also increase the production of breast milk. Anyways you must drink at least 2 glasses of milk daily.
Lentils- These are commonly cooked in every household across the globe because it is full of various proteins, minerals, and vitamins. It is light, good for your digestion, and can provide you with wholesome nutrition.
Nuts & Seeds- Breast milk production can also be increased by consuming Cumin seeds, fennel seeds, sesame seeds, fenugreek seeds, and dill seeds. By consuming these seeds you can say goodbye to all the digestive disorders like constipation, acidity, and bloating.
Green Leafy Vegetables- Green leafy vegetables are full of vitamins that can increase the production of breast milk. You must include spinach, mustard greens, kale, and fenugreek leaves in your daily diet.
Tulsi & Curry leaves- It has been a strong belief from the past so many generations that consuming Holy Basil/Tulsi is good for the appetite and digestive system of a lactating mother. You can enjoy drinking Tulsi tea in the evening as it helps in calming your digestive system.
