When you search for “preview under mouse” in the actions list there are several variations such as listening through your track fxs, listen raw, listen from the point of your cursor on and more!
I usually have mapped “SWS/BR: Preview media item under mouse” to a key and “SWS/BR: Preview media item under mouse through track” 👍
You can also use “SWS/BR: Preview media item under mouse (start from mouse cursor position)” which as you guessed, it will play from your mouse position! 🖱️
